Dec 08, 2017 · [update] So far I have measurements from a 6 slot (5.5mm) , 4 slot big red (10mm) and a normal 4 slot with no speakers (3mm). the cabinets without speakers and just a normal marquee only have enough room for the EL panels so it means the front marquee will need to sit a little further forward than it does at the moment. The lights could work in a lot of ways, but I went for a cheap 5m neo pixel strip. Neo pixels or ws2812 have a chip in each led and you can program each led to turn on and what colours with a simple data line that passes through each led. I have 4 strips of 11 leds in each box and just turn on 1-11 or marquee 1 or 12-22 for number 2.
